At the Alumneum relationships have been created. Beyond personal friendship, the ntework of former and active alumni has been useful. At the 150-year-jubilee of the Alumneum, an association has been established.
Its aims are:
- to foster the exchange and friendship among former and active alumni,
- to support the participation of alumni at ecumencial or academic meetings,
- to cultivate the contact to the University and the City of Basel,
- to promote the Alumneum.
The board organises the Association and invites its members to the annual assembly. The members of the board are:

The president of the foundation and the direction of the Alumneum belong to the board as well.
The annual assembly 2013 of the association will be held on Saturday, 20th of April, at 11 a.m. with information on the life at the Alumneum, a lunch in the garden with students, and a visit to the exposition at the Fondation Beyeler / Riehen.
